Resuscitation Council UK is seeking an experienced clinician to join its Clinical and Service Development Directorate as a Resuscitation Practitioner.

The Clinical and Service Development team supports RCUK’s internationally recognised life support courses, course regulations, clinical enquiries, educational activity and wider clinical workstreams, including ReSPECT and support after cardiac arrest.

As a Resuscitation Practitioner, you will provide clinical and operational support to the directorate. This will include responding to course and clinical enquiries, supporting course centres, candidates, instructors, course directors and medical directors, and contributing to defined course development and service improvement projects.

We are keen to attract candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds who can demonstrate clinical credibility, sound judgement and a clear commitment to resuscitation practice and education. You do not need experience across all RCUK courses or all age ranges. What matters is that you have strong communication skills, relevant course knowledge and an understanding of RCUK guidance, course regulations and agreed processes.

The role would suit someone who is an active RCUK Instructor and has current involvement in resuscitation practice or education as part of their professional role.

You will work closely with Clinical Leads, Lead Educators and colleagues across RCUK. We are a small, committed clinical team working together to support the resuscitation community and ultimately patients and their families. We would welcome applications from clinicians who can bring sound clinical judgement, strong course knowledge and a collaborative approach to this work.

The position offers hybrid working, with office attendance at RCUK’s London office as required.
