Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in implementing and supporting HR systems? University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a People Systems and Reporting Officer to support an effective Establishment Control function within our People and Culture (P&C) team.
In this role, you will take the lead on maintaining and developing UAL’s Establishment Structure, providing input and direction on the people system aspects of organisational change. As part of your remit, you will help administer the full establishment cycle and contribute to improvements in data quality and business processes through innovative changes to our people systems. While previous experience in a similar role is not essential—as full training will be provided—an understanding of how an establishment model operates, along with the associated processes and activities, would be advantageous.
As the first line of support for colleagues within the P&C team and the wider university community, you will offer effective advice, guidance and assistance across our portfolio of HR systems. Additionally, you will also be responsible for organising and delivering HR system-related training sessions and creating accessible training materials that help colleagues make the most of our tools and technology.
This role is being offered on a part-time basis of 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE).
About you
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and previous experience of working with HR systems, including delivering system-based training.
With previous experience of and confidence in working with a range of desktop software packages, you will be comfortable working with data, especially in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and present information clearly and effectively.
You will need to be organised, team-oriented, and confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, a customer service approach to your work and a collaborative mindset will also be essential in ensuring excellent service delivery.
