Hours: Full Time

This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of fashion buying and merchandising talent on one of the only dedicated undergraduate courses of its kind in the UK.

As Lecturer in Fashion Product Management, you will play a central role in our students’ three-year journey, seeing the direct impact of your teaching as they develop from novices into strategic thinkers ready to make product decisions in an increasingly complex retail landscape.

You will work closely with the Course Leader and team on BA Fashion Buying & Merchandising, taking significant responsibility for teaching, curriculum development, and leading a year group through tutorials, coaching, and supervision. You will deliver high-quality, innovative teaching that reflects the realities of the contemporary fashion industry, while staying closely engaged with emerging technologies and shifts in fashion product and retail practice. Your impact will extend beyond the classroom too, through industry partnerships that bring live projects into the curriculum, and income-generating and enterprise activities that enrich the student experience across the wider Product & Innovation and Enterprise Programme.

About you
We are looking for an experienced educator with knowledge of fashion, or a related industry, gained across a range of company contexts, and experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment or equivalent.

You'll need strong communication skills and the confidence to engage a large and diverse group of students, alongside the ability to plan and manage your teaching and unit responsibilities effectively. Just as important as your subject expertise is your commitment to inclusive, collaborative teaching practice, and your enthusiasm for helping students find their place in the fashion industry.

If you have any general questions or have accessibility needs, please contact lcf.staffrecruit@arts.ac.uk.
