Salary: Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours for group teaching to include preparation time spent in the classroom delivering teaching, class preparation; course administration; ('the multiplier') totalling £56.96 / £67.49 (basic hourly rate starts from £23.46 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance). Marking is paid at the basic hourly rate using plain time hours (from £23.46) and is part of the teaching contract.

About the Role

The Department of Politics and International Studies has vacancies for fixed term Graduate Teaching Assistants/Teaching Fellows to cover tutorial teaching for the modules listed below. Candidates will be expected to have specialist knowledge in the discipline(s) related to the contracted module, the ability to design and develop lessons for, and deliver engaging teaching to, undergraduate or postgraduate students from a diverse background. Candidates should also have strong time management skills, with the ability to plan work independently and meet varied deadlines.
