The Grantham Research Institute is a world-leading centre for the study of the economics and social sciences of climate change and other global environmental problems, based at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The Institute’s work has been recognised through the award of the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education 2020-22.
Job Summary
The Operations Manager will lead the delivery of high-quality administrative services across a cluster of three internationally recognised research centres within the Global School of Sustainability: the Grantham Research Institute (GRI), the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) and the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI). Managing a team of Senior Administrators, the postholder will oversee HR, finance, events and facilities operations, ensuring efficient, consistent and responsive support across the cluster. Working closely with senior academic and professional services colleagues, they will play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading service improvements and embedding a collaborative approach to administration across the three centres.
