This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised coordinator to play a central role in supporting the University's portfolio of digital, technology and transformation initiatives. Working closely with Project Managers, Programme Managers and senior stakeholders, you will provide a blend of project coordination, governance support and administrative expertise that helps drive successful delivery across multiple strategic projects.

No two days will be the same. You will coordinate meetings and workshops, maintain project documentation and registers, support testing and training activities, manage communications, oversee diary and stakeholder coordination, and assist with financial administration. You will become a key member of the team, helping ensure projects run smoothly and colleagues receive excellent support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating project and governance meetings, including preparing agendas, papers, minutes and action logs.
  • Maintaining project documentation, risk, issue and action registers.
  • Supporting delivery of testing, training and engagement activities for new systems and processes.
  • Managing diaries, schedules and stakeholder meetings across multiple teams.
  • Supporting project communications through Teams, SharePoint and internal channels.
  • Raising purchase orders, processing requisitions and supporting budget administration.
  • Producing reports, presentations and management information.
  • Building positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and project stakeholders.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of project and administrative processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experienced in administration, project support, PMO, coordination or a similar role.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality service and supporting change initiatives.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within projects, PMO, IT, transformation or change environments.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or APM.
  • Experience coordinating training, testing or user engagement activities.
  • Experience within Higher Education or another complex organisation.
