Do you have the expertise to inspire students and advance research in Mechanical Engineering? If so this 12 month role, (starting in September 2026), could be ideal.
We’re looking for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. You’ll contribute to high-quality, research-led teaching across Mechanical Engineering and related programmes, with a focus on Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, while developing research that supports the University’s internationally recognised research and innovation portfolio.
The School offers a welcoming and inclusive environment, recognised with a Silver Athena SWAN award. Teaching is strongly connected to research and includes substantial practical and laboratory-based learning, helping students develop the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers.
