The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to contribute to our teaching and research in Politics and International Relations. We currently offer a BA Politics and International Relations, BA History and Politics and MA Politics and International Relations
As our ideal candidate, you will have specialist knowledge and expertise in Middle East and North African Politics, and/or in Global Political Economy. We welcome candidates who can contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum in our social sciences programmes. You will be joining an ambitious school with an active research portfolio.
Candidates will have a doctorate in a cognate discipline and a strong track record of research to inform your teaching and contribute to the research activity within the Faculty. You will have experience of teaching in higher education. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential.
