Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor (permanent contract) within the Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging Section, School of Medicine, UCD. The candidate must hold a Radiography degree qualification. Candidate must have Radiography experience in clinical and/or education of ideally at least 2 years. The post is due to commence from 1st September 2026.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to work in the Section of Radiography and Diagnostic Imaging in the UCD School of Medicine. The Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging Section is the national centre for undergraduate Radiography education, and we also offer a graduate entry radiography pathway and a range of taught graduate courses and CPD offerings. The post will principally involve teaching and assessment and support of undergraduate Radiography education and the provision of high-quality scholarship and contribution to the delivery of professional training within the Section of Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging. Postgraduate teaching and assessment roles will be included dependent on candidate’s expertise.
