Role Summary
We are seeking a Partnerships Administration Lead to join the Student and Programme Administration team within the Directorate of Student and Academic Services (SaAS).
SaAS delivers high-quality student services across the entire student journey, from enrolment to graduation. In this role, you will lead the administration of the University's global and UK partnership provision, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with University regulations, partnership agreements and service standards.
You will manage a specialist team, work closely with academic colleagues and external partners, and drive continuous improvement to enhance the experience of students studying through our partnership network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of administrative services supporting the University's partnership provision, ensuring compliance with University regulations and partnership agreements.
- Manage, support and develop a specialist administration team, ensuring workloads are effectively planned and staff are appropriately trained.
- Build strong relationships with Schools, Global Partnerships and external partner organisations to support collaborative programme delivery.
- Oversee key student administration activities, including enrolment, module registration, assessment, progression and the maintenance of accurate student records within SITS.
- Monitor service performance, ensuring activities are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working to enhance service quality and the student experience.
- Act as the principal operational contact for partnership administration, providing advice and resolving operational issues where required.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of managing a team within a busy administrative environment.
- Experience of student or programme administration within a higher education setting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience of building effective working relationships across teams.
- Knowledge of administrative processes supporting the student lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to solve problems and respond effectively within a complex operational environment.
- Experience of using student records systems or other digital systems.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of higher education regulations and academic programme structures.
- Experience of working with external partners or stakeholders.
- Experience of coaching or developing colleagues.
