We have created a new role to support the University of Plymouth to help us continue to build a safe, inclusive environment where concerns are acted on and people can thrive.
About the role:
We are seeking a Safeguarding Officer to provide expert, operational support and ensure safeguarding concerns are recognised early and responded to effectively.
You will work under the direction of the Deputy Safegaurding Lead and support a small team of Designated Safeguarding Officers.
Day to day, you will:
Multi- Agency meetings as required.

For this role, you will need to be on site 4 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
Due to the nature of this role, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check will be required.
