University of Cambridge - Judge Business School, Central Cambridge

Location: Cambridge
Salary: £33,951 to £39,906 per annum
Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Fixed-Term/Contract
Placed On: 24th July 2026

Do you want to play a meaningful role in shaping how evidence and expertise influence the decisions that matter most to society? The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Policy Engagement Coordinator, helping to connect the world's leading researchers with senior policy professionals across the UK.

Since our founding in 2009, CSaP has become a world-leading pioneer in bringing together academia and government, building relationships rooted in mutual trust to address the UK's most pressing public policy challenges. At the heart of this work are our Policy Workshops, and you will be instrumental in making them happen.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality engagement events, work closely with academic researchers and policy fellows, produce insightful reports, and continuously look for smarter, more efficient ways to do things. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own cluster of thematic activity, building relationships across a diverse network of stakeholders and making a genuine contribution to research impact.

You will bring a Master's degree or equivalent professional experience, a strong understanding of the relationship between research and policy making, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a passion for making complex ideas accessible and relevant. Experience of events coordination and budget management will be essential, and familiarity with AI tools to support reporting and efficiency would be a welcome addition.

If you are ready to be part of a small, ambitious, and collaborative team doing work that genuinely matters, we would love to hear from you.

This is a fixed term role for one year in the first instance.
