The Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen seeks to appoint a Mandarin Language development officer on a part time basis 3.75 hours per week. Situated in the heart of Old Aberdeen the Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen provides Mandarin language teaching and Chinese cultural events to the North East Scotland community.
The main purpose of the role is to support, and mentor Mandarin student teachers undertaking teaching placements. The postholder will act as a link between student teachers, host schools, and programme partners, ensuring that student teachers receive appropriate professional guidance and support throughout their placement period.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £38,704 - £46,049 per annum, pro rata with placement according to qualifications and experience.
