We're looking for a creative and user-focused Web Content Designer to join the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences marketing and communications team at the University of Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to support and enhance the digital experience of one of the UK's leading research-intensive colleges, helping prospective students, researchers, partners and wider audiences discover world-leading education, research and innovation.
Working as part of a collaborative marketing and communications team, you'll design and develop engaging, accessible and evidence-led web content that puts users first. You'll work with colleagues across a diverse portfolio, using analytics, user insight and content design principles to continually improve our digital presence and ensure our websites deliver outstanding experiences.
This role would suit someone who enjoys combining creativity with data, has a passion for digital storytelling and user experience, and thrives on improving how people find, understand and engage with online content.
If you're excited by the opportunity to enhance the digital presence of a globally recognised institution while working on varied and meaningful projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Please Note: If you are a current employee of the University of Glasgow, please be advised that the University would consider an internal secondment opportunity for this post. University of Glasgow applicants should seek clearance for release for internal secondment from their line manager before making a formal application.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for up to 12 months in the first instance. This is a hybrid role, with Wednesday designated as the regular on-campus working day. The postholder must be available to attend campus on any working day and, where required by the needs of the service, to work on campus five days per week.
