About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic healthcare professionals who are passionate about combining clinical expertise with education. If you're looking to make a lasting impact beyond clinical practice, this is your chance to help shape the future healthcare workforce.
As part of our dynamic, multiprofessional Clinical Skills team, you'll work alongside highly respected educators using state-of-the-art clinical simulation technology to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment for our BMBS Medical curriculum. Together, you'll help create authentic learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in clinical practice.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll lead practical teaching sessions, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, supervise learners and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment where students can excel. You'll collaborate with academic and clinical colleagues to deliver an innovative curriculum and contribute to new educational initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of one single 2 hours teaching session on either Tuesday or Thursday throughout University term times. There are several time slots available.
The roles will commence w/c 28th September 2026, and are fixed-term until 30 June 2027 due to business demand.
Reporting to the Senior Clinical Skills Lecturer, you'll bring a healthcare-related degree, current professional registration as a Doctor, Nurse or Allied Health Professional, and active clinical practice, together with experience of teaching in a healthcare setting. You'll be an engaging educator with a proven ability to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide mentorship and guidance, and inspire both students and colleagues.
Whether you're an experienced clinical educator or a healthcare professional looking to expand your educational career, this role offers an outstanding opportunity to influence the next generation of practitioners while developing your own academic and professional expertise within a collaborative, innovative and supportive team.
