The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Developer to join the FMS Technology Enhanced Learning (FMS TEL) team, developing innovative technologies for the delivery of learning and teaching, in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, across the university, and for external clients.

In this role, working alongside a team of developers, you will create and support the delivery of web applications. You will have proven ability to work within Python including Web Frameworks such as Django, HTML, CSS/JavaScript libraries, and JSON. You will be self-motivated, have good planning skills, be able to work well with others and be committed to delivering high-quality services to customers. You will be effective at working both on site and remotely (‘blended working').

You will lead the technical delivery of digital services through the full system lifecycle including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, support and continuous improvement. The postholder works closely with academic, administrative and technical stakeholders to translate University needs into secure, scalable and sustainable technical solutions ensuring alignment with University standards and digital strategy.
