MEDICAL RESEARCH SCOTLAND SUPPORTING RETURNING RESEARCHERS
in subjects related to medical research and to be held at any Scottish University or recognised Research Institution.
Medical Research Scotland funded Daphne Jackson Research Fellowships are for those wishing to return to an area of medical research after a career break of two years or more. There is no requirement or restriction on the subject or nature of the research, provided it addresses a question relevant to human health or disease – the causation, prevention, diagnosis or treatment of illness or the development of medical or surgical appliances, including hearing aids.
Medical Research Scotland funded Daphne Jackson Research Fellowships are available for up to three years, half time and support people through the application process for a fellowship that combines a personalised programme of retraining and mentorship.
To be eligible for a Medical Research Scotland funded Daphne Jackson Research Fellowship, you must at least meet the following criteria:
Your application will be stronger if you also have post-doctoral experience and research impacts and outcomes.
