WMG is a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick. We are seeking a Research Fellow to conduct high-quality research on direct recycling strategies for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials as part of a successfully funded Horizon Europe project.
The successful candidate will work closely with internationally recognised universities, research institutes and industrial partners to advance the direct recycling and resynthesis of cathode materials from recycled feedstocks, with a strong focus on industrial relevance and scale-up potential.

PhD Status
If you are near submission of your PhD, or have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made at Research Assistant level, at the highest spinal point of pay grade 5 (£34,610 per annum).
Upon receipt of evidence confirming the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow, at the lowest spinal point of grade 6 (£35,608 per annum).
