This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the education of Sport and Exercise Science, and future Sport and Exercise Medicine practitioners in the vibrant School of Medicine, and to contribute to the promotion of teaching, research and reach-out activities across the School, and wider Faculty. You will join our creative team of educators and contribute to our thriving partnership with schools, colleges, sport, fitness, public health, and healthcare providers. We are seeking an experienced sport and exercise physiologist, preferably with an interest in clinical exercise physiology or sport and exercise medicine, with a passion for education and supporting the students undergoing professional development.
Due to exciting new developments, there is an opportunity for an experienced educator to join the team on a two-year fixed term contract.
Is this you?
The successful candidate will ideally hold current professional membership with the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) or Clinical Exercise Physiology UK, and a PhD/Doctorate in a relevant subject area. Individual CASES Sport and Exercise Accreditation is desirable. Key experience and skills we are looking for include:
The role requires the successful candidate to be an autonomous practitioner who can offer expert knowledge, guidance and support to the student and the wider team. This Senior Lecturer post is both exciting and challenging and requires excellent knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning; supporting staff and students within and across teams while successfully leading modules in an HEI setting.
