Reporting to the Timetabling Manager, the Timetabling Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an effective and efficient timetabling service across the University. Working within the Timetabling Team, the post holder will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of staff and student teaching timetables, examination scheduling, room bookings and student record administration.

The role requires the analysis, manipulation and interpretation of complex data to support timetable production, examination arrangements and wider Registry Services functions. The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for timetable-related enquiries, providing professional advice and support to staff and students while helping to resolve scheduling issues and maintain high-quality records and processes.

Working closely with colleagues across the Directorate of Student Success, Information Technology, academic departments and other professional service teams, the post holder will contribute to the continuous improvement of timetabling processes and support the University's commitment to delivering an excellent student experience. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

Experience/Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with strong administrative experience in a busy office environment, who is highly organised, analytical and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT capabilities, and a proven ability to analyse and interpret data accurately. Experience of managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and building effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is essential. Experience within Higher Education, timetabling, student records or related administrative functions would be advantageous
