Fixed term and permanent opportunities available
The School of Education, Health and Science is located across three campuses which provide inspiring learning and teaching environments in Cheltenham and Gloucester. This post is based in the state of the art City Campus in Gloucester which is home to collaborative learning spaces and a dynamic team of educators.
The School's strategic aims deliberately prioritise engagement, deep learning and lifelong skills development, with a consistently strong focus on equity and inclusion. Students expect personalised, authentic, active and connected learning opportunities, enhanced by access to sophisticated, new digital technologies. Teaching is creative and informed by real-world, professional experience and innovation. Recent years have seen the development of specialist new programmes and members of our team have been successful in securing research funding. We are now looking for an experienced academic who can provide high-quality doctoral supervision while also contributing to the delivery, assessment and continued development of the taught elements of the EdD programme. Depending on subject expertise and programme requirements, the successful applicant may also contribute to teaching or research development activities elsewhere within the School.
We have both fixed term and permanent opportunities available, and post/s will be offered at 0.2 FTE or above. The specific number of hours/students assigned to the new colleague/s will be discussed with the successful candidate/s.
