This post is full-time (35 hours per week), which is fixed term for 6 months in the first instance.
The University are seeking a Research Associate who will make a leading contribution to a project on parameter inference, emulation and uncertainty quantification in fluid-structure interactions and growth & remodelling, as part of an EPSRC-funded Research Centre for Future PCI Planning, working with Professor Dirk Husmeier, Dr Vinny Davies and Dr Sean Mcginty.
The postholder is also expected to liaise with external collaborators, contribute to public engagement events and organise a method evaluation competition.
In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
