Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
The BA (Hons) Fashion Photography is a highly regarded and well-established degree programme with a strong track record of student success and progression. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team and contribute to the delivery and further development of this dynamic course as a Lecturer involved in the planning, designing, delivery and organisation of the course. You will have the skills or connections to develop links for external engagement including amongst others, live briefs, competitions, and curriculum visits to offer an excellent student experience. Working individually and as a member of a team you will be expected to deliver teaching within a variety of settings including workshops, individual tutorials, seminars and lectures with a large audience.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject. They will have knowledge and expertise of contemporary fashion photography and/or fashion filmmaking, knowledge of lens-based media equipment and software and a proven knowledge of career paths with relevant industry contacts.
