About the Role
The successful candidate will join our team of inspiring and friendly staff who deliver innovative teaching, learning and assessment across our a range of modules / subject areas within the portfolio of Therapy and Rehabilitation; including undergraduate, postgraduate, and degree apprenticeships programmes. It is an exciting time to join this developing team to help shape Physiotherapy education within the University of Derby.
You will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching in accordance with the university’s strategic objectives in order to provide an exceptional student experience. You will work with the programme teams and Subject Lead to ensure that curriculum development, quality management and enhancement comply with required standards; as well as ensuring that research informs and inspires an evidence led curriculum and teaching.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who has demonstrable experience within the field of Physiotherapy. An Honours Degree in a relevant discipline is essential. You must also be registered with the HCPC as a Physiotherapist. You should have experience of education and delivering teaching to pre or post registration students. You may also have experience in a specialist area of practice such as cardio-respiratory, paediatric, or neurological rehabilitation.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, able to convey complex and conceptual ideas in ways that engage and inspire a diverse range of learners. With a commitment to delivering a high-quality student experience, you’ll take a proactive approach to your own professional development and seek continuous enhancement in your teaching practice.
