We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Trial Delivery Manager to join the Health Informatics Centre at the University of Dundee. You will play a key role in supporting and advancing clinical trial recruitment through data -enabled research and informatics services with the Health Informatics Centre (HIC) at the University of Dundee. This is a highly collaborative role which is both externally and internally focused , with a strong emphasis on HIC’s clinical trial capability, stakeholder engagement and data - enabled research delivery . A core focus of the role is to bridge the gap between clinical trial units, NHS partners and delivery teams by translating complex clinical trial and technical requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.

As HIC’s Clinical Trial Delivery Manager , you will play an important role in facilitating coordination for clinical trial informatics activities, bringing together partners, platforms and HIC delivery teams to ensure a unified approach. You will manage the delivery of complex, high -impact projects, while strengthening collaboration between NHS organisations, academia, clinical trial units and other stakeholders. The role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can bring together diverse stakeholder groups , translating complex technical concepts into clear , actionable requirements and delivery plans.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead ing the delivery of clinical trial informatics projects , coordinating technical solutions that support efficient clinical trial recruitment and delivery.
  • Building and manag ing relationships with NHS, academic and research partners, acting as the key interface between stakeholders and HIC delivery teams.
  • Driving the development of innovative informatics services, identifying opportunities to enhance clinical trial recruitment, data access and digital capabilities.
  • Support ing the growth of HIC's clinical trials portfolio by contributing to strategic initiatives, business development and funding applications. Ensuring high standards of governance and delivery, managing risks and ensuring compliance with information governance, data protection and quality requirements.
  • Collaborat ing across multidisciplinary teams to plan priorities, share knowledge, drive innovation and continuously improve clinical trial informatics services.

Who we're looking for essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Broad knowledge of IT project management, software development and delivery, service management a nd technical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing complex informatics or clinical research projects.
  • Experience translating business or clinical requirements into technical delivery outputs.
  • Track record of effectively leading and managing change in a complex environment.
  • Experience working within the health sector, ideally involving the use of health data for research or service delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across NHS, academia and industry.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple organisations and influence decision -makers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to both technical staff and senior management.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver outputs within agreed timeframes.
  • String problem solving skills with the ability to develop innovate solutions and continuously improve existing processes.
  • Ability to discuss and debate constructively
