Our School of Health and Social Wellbeing at UWE Bristol runs a range of postgraduate (PG), undergraduate (UG) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & international programmes related to Health and Social care.
You’ll be teaching, supporting and assessing students across a range of nursing and healthcare programmes. This could include undergraduate nursing programmes including apprenticeships, postgraduate Continuing Professional Development & other relevant health and social care education provision.
You may also act as an Academic Personal Tutor, Academic Assessor, provide research support & supervision for students, contribute to curriculum design and development, participate in quality monitoring and enhancement activities, recruitment and student experience initiatives.
You’re a registered nurse who can demonstrate a range of experience. A strong understanding of promoting holistic patient centred care, & effective communication is essential, alongside an understanding of assessment and management strategies, interprofessional and inter agency working and contemporary healthcare.
You’ve got a sound range of nursing experience as well as experience of working within an interdisciplinary team. You’re an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills & a commitment to close team working.
You need to be registered with the NMC as a Nurse.
In this role, you’ll be based at our Glenside Campus.
You’ll spend most of your time on campus but there may be the opportunity to work from home with agreement from your people manager.
