The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Graduate School Administrator to join our Research Office/Graduate School team and support the delivery of an excellent experience for postgraduate research students. The Graduate School is at the heart of the University’s research community, supporting doctoral researchers throughout their journey from application and enrolment through to successful completion.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in higher education administration or student services who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent high-quality support to a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and communication skills, be able to manage competing priorities, and demonstrate commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the administration of postgraduate research programmes, responding to enquiries from research students and supervisors.
  2. Maintaining accurate student records and research degree documentation, ensuring robust record-keeping and compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
  3. Providing administrative support for postgraduate researcher training, and Graduate School meetings and committees.
  4. Updating and maintaining student information on University systems and contributing to internal and external reporting requirements.
