Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.

We are looking for a strong, positive and proactive manager to lead the University’s placement administration service, ensuring high-quality, compliant and student-focused support for placement activity across the University. The role will have a particular focus on education and health placements, while also supporting placement administration across other programmes and disciplines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality services, supporting students and developing people. You will lead and support the Placements Team, manage resources, improve processes and work collaboratively with academic colleagues, professional services, placement providers and external partners.

You will also help ensure placement activity meets University requirements, relevant legislation, professional standards and PSRB requirements.

We are looking for someone with relevant administrative and information management experience, ideally within higher education. You will be a confident communicator and problem solver, able to motivate others, build positive relationships and drive continuous improvement.

If you are a positive manager who can lead people, improve services and support excellent placement administration, we would be delighted to hear from you.
