Brief Job Description:

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer, UX Focus, to join our Web and Digital team. You will develop secure, accessible and user-friendly digital products across front end and back end technologies.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with developers, UX designers and product owners to turn user needs and designs into reliable digital solutions. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, technical support and continuous improvement.

The role is primarily focused on software development, with a strong emphasis on user experience, accessibility and responsive design.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with:

  • A relevant computing degree, software development qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical experience developing software through academic, personal, internship or professional projects.
  • Understanding of software development principles, web technologies, APIs and databases.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • An interest in user-centred design, accessibility and responsive digital experiences.

Experience with React, TypeScript, .NET, SQL, automated testing, Azure, Figma or design systems would be desirable.
