Leeds Beckett University is an inclusive, vibrant workplace with ambitious plans. Our mission is to be an excellent, accessible, and globally engaged university, contributing positively to a thriving northern economy. We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking and strategic HR Business Partner (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience) with a strong track record of operating at HRBP level within a complex organisation. As this is a fixed-term opportunity, we are seeking an experienced practitioner who can quickly establish credibility, build effective relationships with senior leaders and add value from the outset. You will work alongside a close team of HR Business Partners and the wider HR team. Taking a One HR approach, together we strive for continuous review and improvement to ensure we deliver a quality HR service. You will partner a number of senior leaders, across various schools and professional services within the University on business-as-usual matters whilst also taking the HR lead on a number of University wide strategic projects.

While this is advertised as a full-time position, we recognise the value of flexible working and would be pleased to consider applications from candidates seeking a reduced working pattern of 0.8 or 0.9 FTE (four or four and a half days per week).

If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact Nic Beaumont (Nicola.beaumont@leedsbeckett.ac.uk) to arrange a suitable time to speak with Jen Cartwright, Associate Director of ER and HR Business Partnering.
