About the role

The School of Management is seeking a Teaching Fellow in Healthcare Management to contribute to our established programmes in Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management and International Business Management. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across both campus-based and distance learning provision, undertaking activities including lectures, seminars, online learning, assessment, student support and module leadership. The role also involves developing and enhancing digital learning materials, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting an excellent student experience through effective feedback, supervision and academic guidance.

You will join a vibrant academic community within the University of Leicester’s School of Business, an international and interdisciplinary environment with a strong reputation for business and management education and research. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will engage in scholarly activity that informs teaching practice, contribute to the School’s scholarship network, participate in academic service and committee work, and support student recruitment and retention activities.

About you

You will have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Healthcare Management or a closely related discipline or possess equivalent professional qualifications and experience. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in areas such as Healthcare Management, Healthcare Policy and Governance, Management and Leadership, or Digital Healthcare. You will be a collaborative colleague who can work independently when required, demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, and contribute positively to teaching-related activities across the School.
