About the role

Our transformation portfolio includes ambitious, high-profile programmes spanning digital transformation, service redesign, campus development and enterprise-wide systems change. In this senior role, you will lead change activity across complex programmes, working closely with senior leaders, academics and professional services colleagues to embed sustainable, people-centred change.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced change professional who thrives in complex environments, brings credibility with senior stakeholders, and is motivated by delivering meaningful organisational impact.

What you would be doing

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of change strategies and plans that support adoption, readiness and benefits realisation across major programmes. You will coach sponsors and leaders, shape communications and engagement approaches, oversee change risks and issues, and ensure that change activity is practical, measurable and aligned to Imperial’s strategic goals.

We are looking for a confident and credible change leader with significant experience of delivering complex transformation in large, matrixed organisations including experience of digital change and technology-enabled transformation ideally within higher education or a similar environment.

You will bring excellent stakeholder engagement skills, a strong grasp of change methodologies, and the ability to translate strategy into practical action. You will also be comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing at senior level, and helping teams and individuals move successfully through change.

What we can offer you

We offer a sector-leading benefits package, generous annual leave and pension arrangements, flexible working opportunities, and a workplace culture that supports wellbeing, development and progression.

If you are excited by the opportunity to lead change at scale and make a lasting impact in a world-leading institution, we would love to hear from you.

Join Imperial and help shape the future of how a world‑leading university works.

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
  • Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.
