Background
The Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion plays a critical role in helping to prioritise staff and student development, engagement, accreditation, monitoring and integrated practice improvement needs. Le d by the Assistant Vice-President (EDI) who reports to the President, and the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), the Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion is a single University-wide unit that works proactively to foster an inclusive organisational culture and support the progression and success of our staff and students.
Responsibilities
Person specification
The successful candidat e will hold a first degree or equivalent experience; they will have e xperience of working in higher education or other large complex organisation, alongside line management e xperience and experience of successfully delivering a charter mark award or equivalent.
They will have excellent presentation, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, be confident in the use of IT systems, have the ability to work independently or as part of a team and confidence in dealing with people at all levels.
