The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of business‑critical Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring they are highly available, performant and secure. Working closely with the wider infrastructure team and application owners, you will drive incident resolution, disaster‑recovery planning and continuous improvement of our core infrastructure components. The role also involves technical leadership on upgrades, vendor management and the creation of robust documentation and knowledge‑transfer processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the functioning of our day-to-day University processes, enabling us to provide benefits to our students and the community. You'll be working with a supportive team of infrastructure engineers to drive continuous improvements.
