We are seeking an ambitious and influential academic to join the School of Design and Creative Arts as Professor of Fine Art.
This is an opportunity to provide creative and academic leadership at an important point in the development of Fine Art at Loughborough. Our approach places studio practice, making, experimentation and critical enquiry at the heart of Fine Art, supporting a diverse and ambitious community of artists, researchers and students.
You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Fine Art, strengthening its research culture and extending its national and international profile. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help create opportunities for ambitious practice and research, support and mentor colleagues, and contribute to an exceptional environment for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral study.
The role offers significant scope to develop collaborations across the School and University and to strengthen relationships with galleries, museums, cultural organisations and wider creative communities.
We are looking for the successful applicant to help shape the future of Fine Art at Loughborough while continuing to advance their own practice and research.
