Following the appointment of a new Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) and internal restructure of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Digital & Technology Services (DTS) are seeking an exceptional leader to join us as Director of Digital Partnerships. Reporting directly to the CDIO, this is a unique opportunity to shape how the University of Nottingham identifies, engages with, and realises value from the wider technology ecosystem.

You will lead activities to identify emerging technologies with transformational potential and create partnership models that enable experimentation and delivery of innovative solutions.
Working across our global campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia, you will ensure that promising technologies are explored, governed appropriately, and translated into sustainable institutional value. You will also represent the university at industry forums and innovation networks, strengthening our reputation as a partner of choice for digital innovation.
We are seeking a strategic, commercially astute leader with significant experience in digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement. You will combine strong technical fluency with exceptional influencing skills and a proven ability to translate emerging technology opportunities into measurable organisational outcomes.
