Do you have the experience to contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate BM BS programmes? Do you have experience in the areas of anatomy, clinical skills and have teaching experience in medicine or a related discipline? If yes, then please read on. 

Kent and Medway Medical School is seeking an Education Fellow (Consolidation & Improvement) to contribute to the development and delivery of the undergraduate BM BS programme in a variety of settings, such as group tutorials, team-based learning, large group lectures, in the areas of anatomy, clinical skills, curriculum consolidation and improvement, curriculum mapping, and assessment. This role will focus on two areas: curriculum consolidation and improvement, and curriculum mapping.

As an Education Fellow (Consolidation & Improvement) you can expect to be involved in:

• Working with KMMS academic staff to accurately map the BM BS curriculum to appropriate outcomes, including programme outcomes, GMC Outcomes for Graduates and MLA, using an innovative mapping tool
• Undertaking some teaching activities of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including providing support for student learning
• Mapping the 5-year curriculum of BM BS, producing a final document or suite of documents that clearly identifies and relates the current curriculum to appropriate programme outcomes 

What will you bring to the role?

• A Medical/Healthcare degree, or a closely related subject area such as Human Anatomy, Physiology or Biochemistry, or equivalent
• Experience of undergraduate medical education, ideally spiral/integrated curricula
• A demonstrable interest in teaching and learning in undergraduate or postgraduate learning and teaching in medicine or a closely related discipline
