THE ROLE
This position is working within the Turing Integrated Research Engineering (TIRE) team to support the Turing’s national security partners though developing AI and Data science solutions. It will work across a cross-disciplinary team, developing new projects and authoring research proposals. This position will contribute to team research and tool testing, and is expected to provide to lead on multiple technical projects. A large portion of the role is to represent TIRE to internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting the career development of staff within the group.

You'll combine deep technical expertise with strong software engineering practices, thrive in collaborative multidisciplinary environments, and confidently engage with senior stakeholders across the Institute and with our partners. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of national security, developing innovative data science and AI capabilities that deliver meaningful impact for the UK. Eligibility for DV security clearance is essential, with current or recent DV clearance highly desirable.

This role will be based at the Hub8 MX working space in Cheltenham.
