Are you a Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience? Do you have a passion for teaching, learning and supporting students to achieve their potential?
The Department is seeking to recruit a Lecturer (0.5 FTE) Mental Health Nursing to work within the Mental Health nursing programmes focusing on delivery of key modules including in simulated learning, advanced communication skills for nursing, nursing knowledge and scientific principles.
The successful candidate will deliver teaching across key areas including simulated learning, advanced communication skills, mental health nursing knowledge, scientific principles underpinning nursing practice and evidence-based mental health interventions.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. ALL criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, even if they would otherwise be regarded as spent under this Act must be disclosed, as well as any other information that may have a bearing on your suitability for the post, including pending prosecutions.
The University will apply for a DBS certificate before your appointment is confirmed.
