The Role
Newcastle University Advancement (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/alumni/) is the driving force behind alumni engagement and partnerships across the University. We build lifelong relationships with alumni and supporters, create opportunities for students, and inspire partnership and investment.
About the role
This 1 year fixed term role sits at the interface of business, innovation and education. As Projects Coordinator you will play a key part in supporting wide range of activities relating to innovation, entrepreneurship, and business connectivity from the alumni community. This involves working with a range of internal and external partners and coordinating a variety of new and emerging projects.
This new role will be pivotal in helping boost entrepreneurial skills in the student and graduate population, contributing to the wider economic growth of the city and region.
About you
You will be comfortable working in an externally facing role and building strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be an excellent communicator and proactive in delivering exceptional service to external partners.
You will have experience of coordinating projects in a large and complex organisation and be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
Experience in business engagement and/or event management would be desirable.
