We have an exciting opportunity in Engineering & Maintenance for someone with a passion for Mechanical Engineering looking to learn new skills and develop abilities on an approved Apprenticeship.
You will use your technical skills and knowledge to provide essential support to the Estates & Facilities Team helping to ensure the standards and safety of the University facilities remain world class.
As this role requires a thorough understanding of Mechanical systems supporting building infrastructure, it provides an excellent opportunity to learn & develop your skills. In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
We are seeking candidates with GCSE Grade A-C 9/4 in Maths, English or the ability to pass functional skills tests in these subjects during the selection process for applicants without these qualifications, as well as a commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme and engaging in all on and off the job training and development activities. This role culminates being educated to NVQ Level 3.
