St Hugh’s College, Oxford, is seeking to appoint a Senior Academic Administrator for a fixed period until 26 March 2027. The role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, although part-time hours may be accommodated by agreement. The salary is Grade 10, £67,119–£77,512 per annum inclusive of Oxford weighting, pro rata for part-time hours.

The role would be well suited to an experienced colleague seeking a secondment or an opportunity to gain broader senior-level experience within a collegiate University environment.

The Senior Academic Administrator is a senior professional services role providing substantial operational leadership across the College’s academic administrative function. Working closely with the Senior Tutor, the postholder will take operational responsibility for all academic administration, academic regulatory compliance, and planning and improvement activity.

Reporting to the Senior Tutor, and line-managing the Academic Registrar and the Access and Participation Lead, the postholder will manage complex and sometimes competing priorities, exercise considerable professional judgement, lead projects and process improvements, and work with senior academic and professional services colleagues across the College and University.
