Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecture Assistant Professor (above the bar) within the School of History
The School of History is seeking to appoint a Specified Purpose cover (estimated duration 5-years) Lecturer in the history of war post-1945, ideally with a focus on Europe (including Northern Ireland / Britain and decolonisation conflicts). The expected start date is 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing these teaching initiatives and pursue their own research projects. The successful candidate will:
Salary Scale: 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor Above The Bar (7943) €66,055 - €104,600 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
