Open Access Engagement Project Lead - Grade 7

Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week

Tenure: Fixed term for 1 year

Hybrid working: 2 days/week on Campus or minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible

Are you looking for a fixed term opportunity that will give experience of managing an advocacy and change management project that should have real influence on the impact made by the research of one the UK’s top universities? Do you have the skills and the drive to deliver presentations, devise promotional strategies, and monitor the success of your work?

The University of Liverpool is looking for a candidate to drive forward our Open Access Publishing Engagement Project. This project builds on the results of sector-leading Liverpool research showing the correlation between the impact of our researchers’ publications and their availability in open access repositories (so-called Green Open Access).

While a familiarity with the concepts of Open Access would be an advantage, what we need most from you is the ability to understand and communicate complex messages in a clear and impactful way, the drive to keep promoting the advantages of Green Open Access, and the desire to make a contribution towards increasing the visibility and reach of the University’s research.
