Alumni Engagement Officer

About the Role

Reporting to the Global Alumni Community Manager, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of alumni volunteering engagement activities, programmes and digital initiatives that connect alumni with each other and with Warwick Business School.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the School, University and alumni volunteer network to understand community needs, develop engagement opportunities and deliver high-quality experiences that support strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of alumni community projects, campaigns, events and engagement initiatives across global regions and professional networks.
• Working with alumni, volunteers, students and internal stakeholders to understand community preferences, requirements and emerging trends, ensuring programmes and activities remain relevant and impactful.
• Supporting the rollout, promotion and ongoing optimisation of the School's digital community platform, embedding it as a key engagement tool and encouraging active participation across alumni audiences.
• Gathering, analysing and presenting data, feedback and community insights to inform decision making, monitor engagement performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Developing audience-focused communications and promotional activities, including digital marketing initiatives and social media engagement, working closely with Marketing and Communications colleagues.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns, platform adoption and community engagement activities, evaluating outcomes and recommending improvements.
• Preparing stakeholder briefings, presentations and reports, translating community feedback and engagement data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Coordinating with internal teams, external partners and volunteer leaders to deliver projects, events and community programmes successfully and efficiently.
• Supporting the management of alumni relationship data and CRM systems, ensuring information remains accurate, compliant and useful for reporting, engagement and strategic planning purposes.
• Acting as a key point of contact for alumni, volunteers and community stakeholders, delivering a professional, responsive and relationship-focused service.
• Working with colleagues to develop and implement innovative approaches that encourage networking, mentoring, volunteering and peer-to-peer support within the global alumni community.
