University Teacher

We have an exciting opportunity at the AMRC Training Centre for someone with a passion for teaching the next generation of apprentices, by using your teaching skills and experience gained in industry. 

We have a reputation for delivering high quality apprenticeships to apprentices working for multinational aerospace companies, consumer goods companies and food and drink manufacturers as well as small and medium sized companies in our region.  Many of our apprentices have gone on to win national and regional apprenticeship awards and have made a significant contribution to their companies.

You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for high quality curriculum design and teaching by delivering high quality teaching. 

Educated to degree level in manufacturing or engineering, you will have experience gained in industry and proven teaching ability. 

We are looking for someone with experience of teaching mould and tooling design and supervising industrial projects.  We are looking for someone with creativity and flair who can deliver interesting and stimulating teaching to our apprentices.  

We are also looking for someone who likes working as part of a team who can support colleagues and meet deadlines.
