The School of Engineering and Built Environment, part of the College of Business, Technology and Engineering, is home to a vibrant community of academics, researchers, and industry professionals across a wide range of engineering disciplines. What we're looking for

Applicants should have an understanding of current and emerging trends within robotics and automation, together with an awareness of the opportunities and challenges facing the sector both nationally and internationally. During the selection process, candidates will be invited to demonstrate how their professional knowledge and experience can be applied to inspire and develop future robotics engineers.

Our teaching laboratories utilise ABB industrial robotic systems, therefore experience of working with ABB robots, robot programming, system integration, or relevant industry certifications would be advantageous, although not essential.

No previous teaching experience? No problem.

If you have practical experience and a passion for developing others, we will support you in making the transition into higher education. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers while continuing to develop your own professional and academic career.
