Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science (0.5 FTE)

We are seeking to appoint a proactive and highly skilled individual to work in the School of Human and Health Sciences to support all aspects of academic work for our programmes in sport and exercise science, and physical education and coaching. This will include teaching undergraduate students and contributing to research activities. A specific interest and expertise in biomechanics and/or strength and conditioning is central to this role.

The Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise has an excellent portfolio of education and research, and we want to appoint individuals to help us achieve our ambitious plans.

A Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science or a closely related discipline is essential. Experience of applied work (e.g., coaching, instructing, sport science support) in addition to relevant teaching experience in Higher Education are also necessary. You will be highly motivated and be able to undertake student-centred teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive student experience.
