Chef de Partie

Salary on appointment will be £25,249 with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum (pro rata if term time only). 

The University of East Anglia (UEA) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie to join our large and diverse catering operation.

This full-time role is available on either a 52-week-per-year contract or a 38-week-per-year (university term-time only) contract, providing flexibility to suit different lifestyles and career aspirations.

The Campus Kitchen offers a huge variety of culinary experiences, from freshly prepared food served across our campus cafés and restaurants, to contemporary street food, international cuisine, high-volume production, hospitality, functions and elegant fine dining events. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chef who enjoys variety and wants to develop their skills across different styles of food and service. 

Working alongside the Head Chef and wider team, you will prepare and serve great food for our outlets, events and hospitality functions. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your culinary skill while working with a wide range of ingredients, menus and cooking styles. 

Your responsibilities will include preparing food to agreed recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality, managing stock, minimising waste and maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of menus that reflect the diverse tastes and expectations of our students, staff and visitors.
