Teaching Fellow

About the Role
The Department of International Education, within the School of the Arts, is looking to appoint a Teaching Fellow (Professional Services). This post is full-time (35 hours p/w) and permanent with an expected start date of 01 January 2027.

The Department delivers a large and diverse portfolio of teaching across Foundation programmes, Pre-Masters Programme, Pre-sessional English, QMElevate and undergraduate and postgraduate TESOL programmes. Collectively, these programmes support approximately 1800–2200 students annually.

Duties will include convening and teaching modules and undertaking administrative roles as required within the Department. Experience of teaching English for Academic Purposes and academic skills development are essential. A background in Foundation and/or pathway education is highly desirable particularly when complemented by a proven track record in module leadership, curriculum and assessment design and the effective support of diverse international student cohorts. The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate the flexibility to teach across our range of programmes as required.

About You
You will hold a postgraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience, together with the ability to deliver teaching and assessment at a variety of levels. The ability to work constructively and flexibly with colleagues, good organizational and communicative skills are also essential.
